NOTE: This mix is spoilery if you haven't seen the finale yet, but I'm sure most of you have.

*SQUEE* DES AND PENNY! My favourite Lost ship <3 <3 <3 I've been working on this for a while but after the finale I was on such Des/Penny overload that I had to finish it. I swear, if these two don't get a happy ending I am driving to L.A. and bitchslapping the entire writing staff. MARK MY WORDS. MARK THEMMMMMMM *SHAKES FIST*.

Anyway, the songs aren't in any particular order so there isn't really a "story". Some of them are about Des and Penny's relationship before the island so they're a little more angsty and tumultuous, and then there's the mega-angst of Penny searching for Desmond and Des pining away for her ;_; But I managed to include some happier stuff near the end for the REUNION! YAYZ! So yeah it's kind of all over the place but I'm sure you can make sense of why I chose each song. Enjoy!

( You Are The Anchor: A Desmond/Penny Fanmix )

This is something I've been planning to do for quite some time but I just never got around to really working on it. Originally, it was going to be a mix based on the seven deadly sins (and I still might do that, eventually, but not for a while) and then it kind of morphed into this. So... what is this, exactly? Uh. Good question. The title is the name of a Damien Rice song (which is not included) and it's basically just a mix of morbid songs ranging from subjects like murder and rape to child abuse and blackmail. FUN TIMES.

Needless to say, some of the subject matter may be a bit disturbing, and the cover art contains blood and simulated crime scenes.

( 9 CRIMES: A SINFUL MIX )

The .zip finished uploading this morning so I figured I'd post it up before I left today!

This is very much a season 2 Nathan mix; depressing, cold, lonely, beard-y... ok so I couldn't bring myself to use a picture of him with The Beard for the covers, but yes, a lot of this is centered around that time when he's basically just a shell of the man he was in season 1. It kind-of-sort-of progresses through the season, his search for Peter, and their eventual reunion, but the story isn't really explicit. And I tried to keep the Petrellicest overtones to a minimum and I think I succeeded, but you know those two...

Anyway, Nathan's always been one of my favourite characters because I feel like he's pretty complex and layered, and this is just one side of him. Not much else to say, really! Enjoy the mix!

( Ghost Of A Shark: A Nathan Petrelli Fanmix )

Yes, this is my third Sylar/Mohinder mix... WHAT. I can't help myself *shrug*. Plus this one is slightly different as it's really a Nathan!Sylar/Mohinder mix based on 'Five Years Gone'. As you probably already know, '5YG' is my absolute favourite 'Heroes' episode and I adore the whole dark, post-apocalyptic future they portrayed.

Sylar and Mohinder's dynamic in this future is FANTASTICALLY fucked up. It amuses me to no end that Sylar kept Mohinder around to basically screw with him and force him to do horrible things. Sylar's such a dick XD. But also, Mohinder kind of became his friend in a completely messed up way, and I personally believe there was a part of Sylar that enjoyed having him around (and not just for the hawt sex either... *shifty eyes*).

ALSO, keep in mind Mohinder completely believed he was interacting with Nathan this entire time and that adds a whole new level of madness. There are so many different possible directions to go with this aspect of Mohinder/Sylar: was Mohinder attracted to Nathan, or did he know that Nathan was actually Sylar and sleep with him anyway, or did he know it was Sylar all along and just pretended not to know so he could continue his research and eventually unleash massive pwnage?? WHO KNOWS?? I tried to encompass all those different possibilities in the songs on here and I hope I succeeded!

( A Delicate Balance: A Mohinder/Sylar '5YG' Fanmix )

Yeah, this is completely out of nowhere and insanely random, considering how much I complained about Maya and her boring-ness this season... BUT. I am placing all the blame on this interview with Sendhil and Dania. THEY ARE TOO PRETTY, OK? And to be honest I am seriously digging the idea of Mohinder and Maya teaming up to PWN Sylar for causing them so much grief and for sexing them up and then leaving, I mean, HOW RUDE! Just think about it... awesome, Y/Y? And I am confident that Maya would become significantly less boring if she was around Mohinder all the time, especially if there was kissing involved.

Since they had just met up at the end of volume 2, the "story" of this mix is a kind of possible continuation of their relationship after the finale. Oh, and I am also fully supporting this now because it would be one of the only 'Heroes' ships I enjoy that isn't insanely angsty and/or morally gray. As much as I love my angst, I need happy endings sometimes too <3

PS: If anyone wants to write me some Mo/Maya, I will bestow upon you my everlasting love and adoration, because it barely exists right now.

( How To Know You: A Mohinder/Maya Fanmix )

Oh god you guys... I can't believe I made this D:

BACKSTORY: OK, so, I play Mohinder at rivelata and Tam plays Claire. I ship Mohinder/Sylar, she ships Claire/Sylar. When Ashley (Sylar) entered the game we assaulted her from both sides (LOL DIRTY) and it turns out she shipped Sylar with no one D:. However, Tam and I (but mostly Tam) would not relent easily and we came up with a novel solution that would please all parties: OT3! Well, it might have traumatized Ashley a bit... but whatever XD And that is how this mix came to be. So yeah, this is for them <3333 ILU x2.

It starts off semi-seriously but it's pretty much total crack. I can't even listen to half the songs without dissolving into a mad giggling fit. And also, finding songs about threesomes? SURPRISINGLY DIFFICULT, just fyi. A few of these songs have pretty ~suggestive language~ in them so if you aren't down with that... uh... don't download them?

Also: I translated the French lyrics myself so they are probably not 100% accurate, buuuuut you get the idea :D

( Bizarre Love Triangle: A Mylaire Fanmix )

Askasdjsjdas OMG FINALLY. This mix honestly did not want to be made. First of all I felt like I was working on it for like, years. Then I started making cover art and my PSP closed and I lost it. THEN I went to upload the .zip file to Mediafire and it's like "LOL NO, TOO BIG" so I had to use Megaupload *headdesk*. BUT IT IS DONE. I'm... not pleased with the new cover art but at this point I don't even care.

ANYWAY. Adam and Peter. I kind of fell in love with Adam/Kensei as soon as he came onscreen because I have a huge weakness for blonde guys with baby faces XD but also as a character, even though he basically wants to destroy the world, I STILL LIKE HIM. This season I found Peter's story in Ireland to be a bit slow, but as soon as he hooked up with Adam I was completely enthralled again. I just love the whole dynamic of ~deception~ going on, and how Adam basically has Peter wrapped around his finger because he saved Nathan's life. I'm definitely hoping to see them reunited again in volume 3 to see how Peter reacts now that he is aware of what Adam's true intentions were!

( Made To Heal: An Adam/Peter Fanmix )

This originally started out as a mix for Harley but quickly morphed into a Joker/Harl mix. They're pretty much inseparable (as much as poor ol' Mistah J would hate to admit it). Their relationship is... fucked up. It's basically abusive, both verbally and physically, but... goddamnit they're so cute! I can't help it! I guess it makes it easier to accept because when I think of them together I always see them from 'Batman: The Animated Series' and in that, they're a lot less horrifying and more comical. Plus, even though the Joker is obviously insane, I do believe that some part of him does love Harley, although he's incapable of expressing those feelings so... he tries to kill her. IDK GUYS, he's the Joker, ok? XD

Some of the songs are from Harley's POV and some are from the Joker's... I'm sure you can figure out which is which. Musically, the styles are a bit, er, "all over the place", but I figure it kind of works with these two. Aaaand that's about it!

( Mad Love: A Joker/Harley Fanmix )

I've been watching a LOT of Arrested Development lately, and as I'm sure everyone is aware, that show is full of LOLZ. However, the third season was always kind of a let down for me... EXCEPT for Rita. I seriously adore her. Like, so much. She was sweet, goofy, endearing, and she had the best clothing XD Yes, even her raccoon hat with the tail.

For those not "in the know" here, Rita was a woman who Michael met in Little Britain and immediately fell head over heels for. Unfortunately, he was so blinded by her immense hotness and British accent that he failed to realize that she was a "mentally retarded female" ("~~~Mister F~~~" lolz). This mix is mostly about Rita but since she was connected with Michael through her whole run on the show, a couple songs are definitely Michael/Rita-ish. They're so cute <3 hee. So yeah, this is mostly a very upbeat and happy mix -- with one slightly emo-ish song -- and it's actually some great music for the springtime as well. I even got over my X-Files-induced fear of 'Beyond The Sea' to include it XD Enjoy!
